Al and Dan heading into Upset rapid (mile 150)
|
Upset was the biggest rapid we went through on May 2. Although it was not a big rapid compared to others on the Grand this year, there was an unseen hole at the very end of the run that swept Brad and Konor off of Dan's boat (in this picture) and later flipped Kim. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
