Ted Williams

A spider's web glowing in the morning sun.

The first half of the day the water was silky smooth. It made for an enjoyable morning.

This was the view up river from our lunch spot.

Our son, Caleb, enjoying his day on the water.

Bob with our daughter Hannah and our ten month old Shih Tzu puppy, Christy. This was Christy's first river trip and she enjoyed it.

Paul Mudd joined us for the last half of the day, paddling upstream from Willow Beach to meet his wife, Summer.

Our River Dog, Christy.

While we were taking a break a fairly sizeable herd of Desert Bighorn sheep came down for a drink. There was a really nice ram in the group. We also saw a nesting pair of bald eagles, a first for us on this section of the river. We passed through a rainstorm in the afternoon with some pretty significant headwinds. We think the rain brought out more wildlife than usual. This was a plus for us.

Our great group and another great day on the water.
