On this trip we decided to bring the grandsons as well. This is Jim's son Alex.

This is Andy's son Josh.

Wignes Lake lies just north of the Saskatchewan border in the Northwest Territories. To get there you must first get
to Saskatoon and then fly about 600 miles to a little town called Stoney Rapids. In Stoney Rapids you transfer all your gear to a Beaver or Otter Float plane and fly another hour north to Wignes Lake.

After almost 2 days of traveling by various means, our float plane lands on Wignes lake.

It took two float planes to transfer us and our gear from Stoney Rapids to Wignes. I took this picture of the first plane taxiing into camp.

Unloading gear and getting ready for a great time.

Dave's son Adam.

Still wanting to get in a little fishing the day we arrived. Here's a picture of Jim and his two sons Alex and Lee on a beautiful evening jigging for lake trout.

Adam with a nice Northern Pike being held by our camp host, guide, and friend, Shawn Campbell.

Heading back to camp for our first night.
