In February we celebrated Bob's 65th birthday. It's a big one, Happy Birthday Bob!

As is our tradition, we open birthday presents in the morning before everyone heads off to school or work. This is the collection of fun gifts Bob scored for his birthday.

The big score for Bob this year getting to lead another river trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. We had led this trip before in on 2015 and ever since Bob had religiously put in for another permit and was awarded one last year. The Park Service, however, doesn't issue the official permit until all their requirements are met and fees are paid. That was now behind us and we were issued this official permit giving us permission to launch on April 16th to go on another one of our favorite adventures.

The other big event we got to celebrate at the beginning of the year was Hannah's birthday. This year she turned 23 and is just doing great.

Hannah is incredibly fun loving and loves to have fun. One of the highlights for her this year was the new Barbie movie. Go figure... :)
