You can't beat a desert sunrise.

Setting off for another beautiful day of riding in Canyonlands.

The second day was our longest -- 35 miles to Candlestick Camp.

Indian paintbrush and many varieties of desert flowers and plants abound.

Rounding the bend from Airport Camp you see this interesting tower on the right. It is appropriately named "Washer Woman Arch".

The White Rim road lies on this white layer of sandstone as it makes its way around the Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands National Park.

Bob, his bike and a beautiful view. What more could you ask for?

Everything was spectacularly beautiful.

Coming off of Murphy Hogback with Candlestick Tower in the distance.

A desert storm was blowing in as we made our way to our second camp, Candlestick.

Rain was predicted for our entire trip, but the storms were very localized. This was the only one that we got caught in.

The third day included this steep section up Hardscrabble Hill. The Potato Bottom camp can be seen below along the Green River.

The last day -- "Bummer". We are going to miss this place!

Alex, as we are leaving the park for the final section of the ride.

The last section up the Horse Thief Trail on the Mineral Bottom Road.

Looking across spectacular Canyonlands from the Island in the Sky Visitor Center towards the LaSalle Mountains.
As Lisa said, "This was a REAL vacation!" Thank God for a great trip.
