Scouting Granite Rapid at mile 93.

Earl trying to keep his firewood dry while slamming through Granite.

No way to skirt the big stuff in Granite. Lisa took these pictures of Bob and Alex starting into it.

Staying lined up...

Almost through...

And coming back to shore.

Jill kayaking in Granite. No doubt, smiling all the way.

Our wet camp at 96 Mile Creek.

It was raining down on the river, but snowing not too high above us.

You can see Konor here at one of the big holes of Crystal Rapid, but it's a little harder to see Amy. She's really good and, where most of us try to avoid holes like this, she loved playing in it.

Jeff pulling hard away (see the bow in his oar) from the Crystal holes.

Earl and Kim bobbing calmly through and making it look so easy.

Bob and Alex heading in. The plan is to try and pull into the green water but not hit the rocks in the foreground.

Fortunately, as planned.

Likewise, here comes Al and James.

The "Yam Barge" rockin' through Crystal.

Alex manning the bow line.
