What Bob Does at Work



Click for a larger image Bob is the Deputy Director for the Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development. He received his Master in Business Administration at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Montana State University.

Prior to accepting the position of Deputy Director, Bob served for seven years as the agency’s Research Director. Before that Bob worked for over 18 years as Assistant Director for the Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Specializing in data collection and dissemination, economic impact analysis, statistical modeling, and survey research, Bob has become recognized as an authority on the business and economic environment of Las Vegas, the state of Nevada, and the region.

His involvement in economic research, consultation, and publication cover a wide range of policy issues. He has become an expert in assisting local, state, and federal government agencies, major corporations, small businesses and the public. A sampling of clients includes: U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Reclamation, the state of Nevada, numerous local governments and agencies, Bank of Nevada, and Sierra Health Services.

Some of the publications and reports that Bobs work has appeared in include: the Las Vegas Perspective, the Nevada Business Magazine, the Economic Outlook, the Southern Nevada Business Directory, the Las Vegas Housing Market Conditions, the Southern Nevada Factbook, the Southern Nevada Business Confidence Index, and the Southern Nevada Index of Leading Economic Indicators.
