One of the most beautiful times to visit Zion National Park is in the fall. There are not near as many people, the weather is much more pleasant, and the fall colors are spectacular. While camping there in late October the weather was quite rainy and Caleb wasn't feeling well so we decided that instead of canyoneering, Bob and Hannah would take a hike up Angel's Landing. It turned out to be a a great decision as Hannah did great and had a great time experiencing one of the best hikes in Zion. The unsettled weather also set things up for great photo opportunities. This is a picture of Hannah at the Visitor's Center water filling station before starting out on our hike. |

Hannah and her dad at "Little Angels Landing". This is where we stopped because the rain had made the rock too slick and unsafe for the more exposed sections further on. |
