Ralston Peak (May 31, 2021)

Our family spent Memorial Day 2021 in the hills hiking a local favorite, Ralston Peak (9,235 feet).

The trail is quite steep, climbing 2,791 feet in just 3.5 miles. Caleb, who is as fit as a mountain goat from all his cross country running, had no trouble on this steep hike.

Lisa enjoying a challenging day hiking with beautiful views at every turn.

Views of Lake Tahoe beyond and Echo Lakes in the foreground.

A panoramic view from the summit of Ralston Peak. The Desolation Wilderness Area with Pyramid Peak and Lake Aloha in the distance was the area that we backpacked through in 2019.
