In his new role, Bob works much closer with many of the projects going on in the state. One of the first was to tour the Fallon Naval Air Station. This is the view from the control tower which was especially fun that day because they were filming for the new Top Gun movie. |
In early April, Bob attended National Governor's Association meetings at the beautiful Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama. |
The Grand Hotel is located on Mobile Bay, a protected harbor off of the Gulf Coast, and is surrounded by these beautiful beaches. |
Enjoying a wonderful dinner with other friends from Nevada attending the conference. |
Can't beat a Gulf Coast sunset. |
In March, Hannah joined others in our Church's youth group for a mission trip to the Czech Republic much like she had been on last year to Ireland. To help fund the trip, our church held a dinner and pie auction. Here Hannah is helping one of the pastors, Dave Hartman, with the pie auction. The event was very successful and our family thinks it was largely due to the beautiful assistant displaying and delivering pies as they were sold. |
On March 16th Hannah and five other students led by youth pastor Kurt Katzorke board the plane for the Czech Republic. |
The group having some fun before they board a van to take them to their final destination working with an English language program in a rural Czech high school. |
Kurt and the students enjoying some time sightseeing in the fairytale city of Prague. |
On one of his many trips, Bob worked it out so he could take a side tour to spend some time with his Dad and Mom for his Dad's birthday in Montana. It was a magical time for all of them. |
