One of the things we had been hoping to do for some time was to take the kids through a more technical canyon and Pine Creek Canyon in Zion National Park was the best choice.

Pine Creek is a beautiful, technical canyon with a couple of decent size rappels, no approach, and a beautiful hike out. So we made camping reservations and got ready for a wonderful family day canyoneering in Zion.

This is a picture of our family right in the parking lot before dropping into Pine Creek Canyon.

For more pictures of this beautiful canyon and our trip through it, including a special event at the end of the canyon check out THIS PAGE.

In May, the City of Henderson sponsored a Bike Scavenger Hunt. There were four trails and over the course of the month we biked the mall. Here is Caleb on the St. Rose Parkway Trail acting like a burrowing desert owl.

Another trail on the scavenger hunt was the McCullough Hills trail. Here Bob and I are at the three mile marker. Christy even joined us on this ride.

Christy loves to be out with the family. She ran part of this six mile ride and spent the rest of the time in Bob's backpack.

In April Bob flew to Montana to visit his Dad and Mom to take care of some family business. It was a wonderful trip. Here's Bob with his Dad, Herb Potts.

While in Montana Bob spent quite a bit of time with his brother Dave. One of their trips took them through some of the remote backcountry of the Madison range.

Bob and his parents took a long drive one day where he got to see many familiar sights from his years growing up in Montana. This is a picture of an old thrashing machine just outside Harrison, Montana.
